Core Content Themes

Economics and Society

Every culture is built from a series of community decisions within a specific environment. In language arts, readings might contrast rural novels and urban novels, or books about majority and minority communities. World History might focus on what drives a nation to war or peace. In math population statistics could be discussed.

Comparative Political Systems

When a person is born can determine much about their life, their thinking, their politics, and their biases. How would being born in 1960 differ from being born in 2000? Readings might explore those questions. Math might look at global movement statistics or economic growth. History could explore how technology changes culture.
